• Tigges Farm has over 15 acres of "You Pick 'Em Patches." There are several regular pumpkin patches with mostly orange pumpkins, one pink pumpkin patch and a sunflower patch. • Bring your camera as there are lots of picture places. Many high school graduation and family pictures are taken at the farm. Click to see a few picture places. PUMPKIN PICKING • Grab a wagon, head for the field, and let the "hunt for the perfect pumpkin begin." • The field will have a "lot" of big, medium and small carving pumpkins. • The white, blue, and specialty pie baking pumpkins are in the field too - you just have to hunt for them. • Miniature pumpkins and colorful gourds you will find at the produce stand. • Pink pumpkins will be in a separate patch and they will cost .20 more a pound which will be donated to the Pink Pumpkin Foundation for breast cancer research. SUNFLOWER PICKING • Come to the produce stand and get a clipper and container. • Pick as many stems as you desire for a bouquet. The cost will be per stem. • Return clippers to the produce stand and exchange container for a plastic bag you can fill with water and zip tie shut for your trip home. There will be a replacement charge for clippers not returned. • August and September will be the best sunflower picking times. FIELD TRIPS • Field trips for Schools, Child Care Centers and Adult Day Care Centers need to be scheduled in advance.
